Delta

In the July of 2002 I was invited to participate in a show at Lallybroch Gallery in Algiers Point. Because the gallery was small, the artists were asked to submit small works. For this show I painted four 6” x 6”’s using dots. At the reception everyone loved the pieces and suggested I paint more. “Delta” is the only one of the first four that I still have in my possession.

I went on to paint twenty more. Of those I only have three left. When I tried to buy that size again, I was told it was no longer available. Then I happened on a local art supply store that was able to order them for me. I am currently at work on a new batch of dot art paintings this size.

  1. I'm not surprised that they have been such a big hit. You do great work, Mo! :D

Oh now you're going to make me blush. Thank you very much. : )

I just have to remind myself to "use bright colors." The duller, darker and/or earth tones just don't move as easily. Some do sell; but more often than not, they are the ones I still have in my possession.

    Mo : )
