so

Another restaurant I visited in Memphis was Napa Café. The bright artwork on the walls hung in contrast dark red walls and dark green woodwork. I took colors that I saw there and came up with this painting. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere when I dined there.

  1. Mo, I looked at this, and before I read your comments about it, I tried to guess what the inspiration was for it. What came to my head was peppers--red peppers, green peppers, yellow peppers all mixed together and next to each other in the produce section of the grocery store. :D

OK, so I got it wrong, but I just thought you might like to hear what went through my head. I liked this one a lot by the way.

    Actually you were close.

On the walls of the restaurant were still lifes involving fruit. So produce was not that far off.

I'm always interested in hearing interpretations of my abstracts.

  3. This "abstract" portrays what's above my potency to put in words. I like this (I like all your talking works) While viewing your pictures I as if chatter with light and ride a sunbeam.
