Ocho

This one began with a red background. I used many of the same colors that I used on the first one in this trio. While one painting dried I worked on another one. There is nothing worse than smearing the dots.

  1. I like the vibrant colors, Mo. This one seems to have movement in it too. I don't know how you get so many dots on there and not smear them--very precise work. Your art seems like it must be very time consuming to do. I wouldn't have the patience. Nice job!

    Thank you.

Over the years folks have commented about "movement" in my art - not just my dot art.

I still have episodes where I smear dots, but I clean them up quickly. It used to happen more when I first started painting dots.

Yes, painting the dots is very time consuming. When folks ask how long, some are surprised when I tell them the number of hours. I know I spent over 14 hours on the dots between these three paintings.

    Mo : )
