Numeros, the Next Three

A couple of months back, I talked about my six paintings titled with Spanish numbers. I have named this group of dot paintings, what else but, “Numeros.” Given that I have sold three of them, I thought I’d give you a peek at the next three canvases in this series. Each one of them has a coat of paint, thus far. I’ll add two more coats before finishing with dots. There will be a lot of changes before I’m through. Here are links to the first six works.     Mo, I clicked on all the links. I'm not surprised that these are selling. They really are quite impressive. So many layers of paint and so much time involved. It just amazes me how much attention to detail you pay with your work. Well worth the effort!

    The first three were completed near the end of 2006. It wasn't until early in 2008 that the first sale took place. Then later in the spring another one sold. Then one of the new three sold in November. There's no set pattern of sales.

    These larger ones do take some time to finish. Detail makes them more interesting.
