Since I was still trying to figure out how to continue my current series of dot paintings, I decided to experiment with drawing dots. I played with size and darkness of my dots. There is no image to find. If you do find one, well, it is unintentional.

this is the picture I like most from your site. strange that something not done with paint seems to give the most nuance to a traditionally painterly practice.
ReplyDeleteYou have articulated my feelings about graphite. I have enjoyed pushing the medium. In fact I have a blog dedicated to my graphite imagery, graphite only.
ReplyDeleteThis sketch was completed using only a #2 Paper Mate SharpWriter. In the past, I also have worked with artist pencils.
