Explosion

Since I can’t get the Gulf of Mexico oil spill story out of my mind, I turned to color photos of the initial explosions. I concentrated on fiery colors on top of blue. Orange is a complementary color to blue. They vibrate when placed together. Anyway, that’s what led to the image below.

    Hopefully my art that results from this disaster will be more cheerful than the inspiration for it.

    Check out my other blogs pic folio and pic journal for some swamp photos during the next few weeks. The week the spill began, I visited a restaurant on a bayou and a wetlands preserve.
