Phase I, Third of Three

And finally here is the third painting of this grouping. Again I'm using an "X" design format. So far this is painting only has one coat of paint. Of course the painting will change as I complete the next two phases.

Phase I, Second of Three

Below is the second painting I'm working on for the Poydras Home Art Show. I've only painted one layer of paint thus far. Again I'm working with an "X" design format. At this stage I have no idea how this painting will turn out.

Phase I, First of Three

November may be a few months away, but i wanted to start on my next three dot paintings for the Poydras Home Art Show. Last weekend I painted the first layer of acrylic paint on three canvases. Below is the first of the three. This year I'm playing
with an "X" design format. I'm not quite sure how this will go. But it is time to work on these paintings.

The Rook Cafe

This past Monday the owner of The Rook Cafe allowed me to hang two of my dot paintings on the wall. He has scheduled me for a show, in the back room, in September. Below are photos from The Rook Cafe is located at 4516 Freret Street in Uptown New Orleans.
