Hard Rain

Again I got my camera out when the rain came down hard. Here are the shots I took using a flash. I don't have to go far to find dot imagery. 'Not sure what this will inspire me to do.

In the spring of 2007 I was reading a magazine when I came across a Honda ad that had a 70s style illustration. It used the colors pink, purple and olive green. The curvy shapes in the design inspired me to create this dot artwork. Again, I use the diamond shape in the middle. And so, I’ve returned to painting this series.

Caesar Parade Party

This past Saturday I attended a Caesar Parade Party. I noticed this napkin paperweight that reminded me of my dot paintings. The confetti inside included the Mardi Gras Colors: green, purple and gold.
